Small Communities Fund
The Small Communities Fund supports infrastructure projects in municipalities with populations of 100,000 or less. Both the Governments of Canada and Alberta contributed $94 million for a total of $188 million.

Responsibility for the fund resides with Municipal Affairs. Approval has been given for 56 infrastructure projects.
The fund is fully allocated and applications are no longer being accepted.
