Calgary Courts Centre

The Calgary Courts Centre is a Government of Alberta initiative that will:
  • provide the citizens of Calgary with a dignified contemporary facility, accessible to all,
  • support the effective and efficient resolution of disputes, and
  • inspire confidence in the administration of justice and respect for the rule of law.

Calgary Courts Centre will be a tremendous addition to downtown Calgary, with 1 million square feet of modern architectural design from world-renowned designer, Carlos Ott.

The project features the development of two court towers on government-owned land between 6th and 7th Avenue and between 5th and 6th Street S.W.  The construction of the west block of the Calgary Courts Centre is to be completed by Summer 2007, and future development of the adjacent east block will see a large underground public parkade and a vibrant urban park.
